Club Service Goals 2007-08

 

District Governor's Citation:

  1. Host one multi-club social event (non-fundraiser) between July 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008.(required)
  2. Recognize birthdays and anniversaries of each club member throughout the year.
  3. Host a club “Family Day” inviting spouses/partners and children of club members to the event.

RI President Citation (complete one of the following):

  1. Have your club give a subscription of The Rotarian (or Rotary regional magazine) to the local public or high school library.
  2. Ensure that incoming club officers and members attend the presidents-elect training seminar, district assembly, district Rotary Foundation seminar, and district conference, as appropriate.
  3. Recognize a member who is providing outstanding service toward polio eradication.
  4. Ensure that every Rotarian in your club is personally invited to participate in club activities, whether it be serving on a project committee or taking responsibility for some aspect of club service.
  5. Recognize a Rotarian in your club who actively participated in the full range of club projects and programs with the Four Avenues of Service Citation.
  6. Include non-Rotarian family members (for example, spouses, children, parents, widows, widowers) into the family of Rotary through service and fellowship activities on at least five occasions.
  7. Appoint a family of Rotary committee to assist with projects and activities for Rotarians and their families.
  8. Invite a speaker from a local nongovernmental organization, or present a club program on the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (www.un.org/millenniumgoals).
