District Governor Nominee

Chester "Chet" Dal Santo

C_DalSanto

On November 20, 1999, Chet Dal Santo joined the Rotary Club of Hawaii Kai. He attended his first board meeting in January, 2000 and volunteered to be on the board. The group said, "Great... you are now president elect". He became President after only six months in the club.  Dal Santo became enthusiastic about Rotary beginning with his first service project. He was president from July 1, 2001 to June 30, 2003 and again from 2009-2010. Chet became active at the district level when he was asked to be an Assistant Governor (AG) in 2004 (Centennial year) to 2006 and again in 2007 to 2009. His other titles include: Foundation Chair, Club Service Chair and Vocational Chair.

Chet is currently the branch manager for Platinum Mortgage Partners in Hawaii Kai and has been in the mortgage business since 1994. Prior to the mortgage business, he was the representative and manager for a company that handled computer systems for hotels in Hawaii and the Far East. This involved a great deal of traveling and experiencing many different parts of the world.

After serving in the U.S. Air Force in Japan, Chet came to the islands in 1968 and has called Hawaii home ever since.

Chet is married to his wonderful wife and fellow Rotary member, Judy "Judy J" Jakobovits who became a member on September 20, 2005. Judy has two children and Chet and Judy share two grandchildren.
