See what our clubs are doing to achieve this goal!

 

Club Recognition

To qualify for the District Governor’s Citation each club shall complete one goal (in addition to those labeled required) in each area of emphasis. Complete the checklist located on the back of this brochure and mail it to the District Governor no later than March 31, 2008.

 

 Membership

 

.. The club president must have sponsored a new member between July 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008 (required).
.. The club must increase membership by 25% gross, or 10% net.
.. Implement a strategic retention plan in your club.

 Service Projects


.. Complete one World Community Service project or partner with another club to complete a project. (required)
.. Complete one Community Service project addressing water, health, hunger, poverty and/or homelessness in your community. (required)

 Family of Rotary


.. Host one multi-club social event (non-fundraiser) between July 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008. (required)
.. Recognize birthdays and anniversaries of each club member throughout the year.
.. Host a club “Family Day” inviting spouses/partners and children of club members to the event.

 New Generations

 

.. Have at least one member participate in a
RYLA camp next year.

.. Invite a member of the District New Generations team to speak to your club.
.. Sponsor or host a Rotary Youth Exchange
Student.

.. Donate $100 per capita to Hawaii Rotary
Youth Foundation.

 The Rotary Foundation


.. Exceed the annual giving per capita goal set by your Rotary Club.
.. Invite a RI Foundation Alumni member to
speak to your club.
.. Have at least one club member participate
in a Foundation seminar next year.

 Vocational Service


.. Honor at least one outstanding non-
Rotarian professional in the field of health, public safety or human concerns in your community.
.. Conduct at least one vocational visit to a
club members’ place of business.

 Literacy


.. Participate in the Hawaii Rotary Dictionary Project or provide dictionaries to school children at the grade school level in your local school. (required)
