District 5000's club presidents-elect (PEs) attended Southwest Presidents-Elect Training Seminar (SW PETS) 2022 in Los Angeles from February 24 to February 27, 2022, at the LAX Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles, California.

This is the first PETS that District 5000 participate in. In past years, club PEs attended Far West PETS (FW PETS) in San Jose, California. Club PEs attended core and elective sessions and had the opportunity to network with vendors as well as Rotarians from Districts 5240, 5280, 5300, 5320, 5330, 5340, and 5500. In addition the PEs in attendance, DGE Randy Hart and his AGs along with DG Sandy Matsui and other leaders participated in this learning and networking opportunity. One of the most notable events was the keynote speaker during the general session. The incoming RI President, Jennifer Jones, shared her "Imagine Rotary" theme (check out how Jennifer Jones is making RI history HERE).
