Statewide Food Drive & Eyeglass Collection 
    Have used eye glasses you’d like to donate?  On Saturday, January 24th, 8am to Noon, we are supporting Lions in Hawaii to host a Statewide Food Drive.
    If you would like to assist in collecting non-perishable food and donations for the Hawaii Foodbank and eyeglass recycling drive, contact your nearest Lions Club.  The collections will be at the State Capitol on Oahu and various storefronts throughout the State.  Volunteer or drop off items.  Check donations can be written out to the Hawaii Foodbank. https://giving.hawaiifoodbank.org/-/NBNGQMRJ?member=SNDUWAJZ
    Rotary International, for the last 5 years, has an official partnership with Lions International, Kiwanis and Optimist.  For any joint projects, your clubs do can mark that box in the Rotary Service Project Central.

In February, to celebrate Rotary’s birthday, District Public Image Chair, Janet Kelley has arranged a media blitz and you will see and hear Rotary ads on TV, on the radio and on Social Media.  All we need is YOU on the grassroot level!
 
We encourage all of you to get the word out and invite someone to join Rotary to make a difference.  “Each One, Reach One” is the buzz word!

Oahu: April 25. Hamakua Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary, 268 Hamakua Dr, Kailua. Restore native forest on Pu'u o 'Ehu,  enjoy bird watching by the wetland. 
 
April 25, 9am-1pm. Hawaiian Legacy Forest at Haleiwa Project, 62-394 Joseph Leong Hwy.  Planting native Hawaiian trees helps recharge our watersheds to protects our oceans, provide native habitat for some of Hawaii’s rarest birds.

Cost: $135.00 per person,  Includes the Whale Watch adventure, Heavy Pupu's, Drinks & Adult beverages.
