Aloha Rotarians!
Seems like the March winds and April showers are intermingling, which means it might be a great idea to stay indoors for the the Spring Training on Saturday, April 10th.  The Environment session at 11:20am will be a winner with an interesting panel on climate change and environmental issues!  Speaking of the environment, the Statewide Rotarians at Work Day, Care for the Aina project on April 24th is coming together with more clubs staking out their areas and April Bullis directing the activities.  We are partnering with Sustainable Coastline, Hawaiian Wildlife Foundation, Surfrider Foundation and Ocean Defenders to make an impact on our island home.

The Virtual District Conference registration is open and our speakers have been secured. Add on $5 for the Virtual walk for Polio and be in the first 100  to get an end Polio Now mask (Polio Plus Society members are Free for the walk). The conference theme is “Holomua!”,  moving forward. Thank you to the Alan Kusunoki and the Conference Committee for the hard work to pivot to a virtual setting.  We are putting everything in an app, which you can access through your mobile devices or laptop.  The sessions will be a click away, as well as the House of Friendship, speaker and Sponsor information.  Speaker bios are in the magazine, along with the conference schedule.

Don’t miss the Global Peace Forum on May 1st.  Mark Harbison has a line-up of incredible speakers.  Check the flyer in the magazine for the registration link.
