Here's What's in Store:

  • Mark Your Calendars: Join us from May 10-12, 2024, at the breathtaking Kauai Beach Resort. It's a perfect setting to reflect on our life of service, celebrate our impact, and look ahead to new horizons.

  • A Warm Kauai Welcome: The five Rotary Clubs of Kauai are gearing up to ensure that our conference is nothing short of spectacular. With an agenda packed with excellent presenters, quality programs, and special events, there will be ample opportunities for fellowship and fun.

This includes access to the Friday reception, Saturday luncheon and banquet, Sunday brunch, and all conference programs. Not to mention, the House of Friendship and an End Polio Walk on Saturday morning to kickstart your day with purpose.

  • Stay in Paradise: The Kauai Beach Resort, freshly remodeled and boasting multiple pools (one with a slide!), offers special room rates for our conference. Extend your stay and enjoy more of paradise at a great rate. Reserve your spot here.

  • Sponsorship Opportunities: Your support can make a significant difference. We welcome individual and corporate sponsorships at various levels. From a $25 personal sponsorship to $50 business card placements in our printed program, every contribution is valued. Find out more about sponsoring here.

Let's Come Together!

This conference is more than an event; it's a celebration of our Rotary family in Hawaii. It's an occasion to honor our past, revel in our present, and anticipate the exciting future we will build together.

Please join us for a weekend that promises to be memorable, enriching, and full of Aloha. Together, let's celebrate the difference we make in the world and reignite our commitment to service above self.

Yours in service,

Empowering Girls in Paradise: How Hawaii's Rotary District 5000 is Making a Global Impact

Past District Governor Sandy Matsui's presentation at the Zone Institute Peer-to-Peer Session in San Diego, November 9, 2023, showcased the transformative power of Rotary International's Empowering Girls Initiative. This initiative, a legacy from RI President Shekhar Mehta and actively promoted by Immediate Past President Jennifer Jones and President Gordon McInally, focuses on enhancing girls' safety, health, education, and well-being. Highlighting Rotary's commitment to basic human rights, the presentation covered the evolving role of the initiative, available resources for clubs, and actionable steps for deeper involvement.
Rotarian Branch Lotspeich was honored by the Hawaii House of Representatives
for the impact and success of the Rescue Tube Foundation.

Rotarian Branch Lotspeich was honored this week by the Hawaii State House of Representatives for the impact and success of the Rescue Tube Foundation.

In 2008, after a presentation by guest speaker Dr. Monty Downs,  The Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay became aware of what rescue tubes are and what they can do. Dr Downs, now the head of Kauai Hospice, was President of the Kauai Lifeguard Association at that time. The club was inspired by the project and purchased and installed 5 rescue tubes which were installed on the North Shore of our island.
