The Hawai'i Rotary District 5000 Youth Service Committee is thrilled to announce the upcoming Virtual Junior Mini RYLA workshop, a fantastic opportunity for middle school students across the state of Hawaii to unlock their leadership potential and make a positive impact in their communities. Scheduled for October 11, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:15 P.M. HST, this virtual event will provide students with an immersive and interactive experience, allowing them to explore their abilities, cultivate new connections, and inspire change. October 11 is considered the fall break for many schools across the state of Hawaii.
Thanks to the generous support of the Rotary clubs in Hawai'i Rotary District 5000, the registration cost of $50.00 per student has been waived, making this workshop an accessible and invaluable experience for middle school students. This is an excellent chance for students to gain a glimpse into the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program, which is a FREE leadership camp for high school students, scheduled for February 2024.
During the Virtual Junior Mini RYLA workshop, participants will engage in dynamic activities, group discussions, and thought-provoking sessions, all designed to enhance their leadership skills, build confidence, and foster a sense of purpose.
