Vocational Service

This area of service represents the opportunity that each Rotarian has to represent the dignity and utility of one's vocation as an opportunity to serve society.  Rotarians promote and foster high ethical standards in business and professions and promote the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations.

 

I am your District 5000 Vocational Service Director.  I wanted to extend my offer to help you in any way I can.  First, I am attaching the "Vocational Service in Action" pamphlet, which is also on the Rotary.org website.  It has great information.  Second, if you would like for me to attend your committee meetings, or any other vocational functions you have, I will do my best to make myself available.  I have already had requests to attend Rotary meetings during Vocational Service Month, which is January.  Let me know if any of you would like me to attend yours as well.

But one strong recommendation is to encourage your members to register on our own District 5000 eYellow Pages on Rotaryd5000.org encouraging "Rotarians Doing Business with Rotarians".  It is free for a basic listing, or you can upgrade to a graphical banner for $30 per year.  Please don't hesitate to contact me for more info.
