District 5000 Interact Citation: Provide appropriate documentation showing completion of at least 8 of the items on the checklist on the following page.
 
Community Service Award:  Provide documentation of significant or ongoing community service projects undertaken by your club. No more than 2 pages.
 
International Service Award: Provide documentation of significant or ongoing international service projects undertaken by your club. No more than 2 pages.
 
Peace Project: Submit documentation of a project that promotes peace in the school, home, local or international community.
 
Club Service Award: Submit documentation to demonstrate that how your club focuses on developing membership, community building, and developing leadership among its members.
 
Innovative Membership Award: Submit documentation to show how your club developed interesting ways and successful ways to recruit/retain new members.
 
Faculty Advisor Award: Provide a one page write-up to document how your advisor provides guidance or mentorship in service, leadership, peace and/or building community.
 
Rotary Advisor of the Year: Provide a one page write-up to nominate a Rotarian who provides guidance, mentorship, club service assistance or vocational mentorship.
 
Scrapbook or Display: Should include documentation of the quality, originality and significance of the projects undertaken by your Interact club. Documentation should include photographs and or media and any written information necessary for the understanding of the projects. While the submission format is referred to as a “scrapbook” emphasis is not only the creativity in the presentation, but the depth of the content in portraying the club.
 
2013-2014 District 5000 Interact Citation
 
To qualify, please provide a brief explanation of participation and achievement in at least 8 of the activities listed below.
Please limit your total presentation to no more than two pages.
  1. Hold meetings, activities or service projects at least twice a month.
  2. Have a net growth of five new Interact members
  3. Create an Interact Club bulletin, newsletter, website, or page that utilizes social media.
  4. Publicize an Interact project at your school via bulletin board, newspaper or otherschool media
  5. Participate in a Rotary project or event, or collaborate with one of Rotary’s service partners, such as Youth Services.
  6. Participate in a career day activity or mentoring activity.
  7. Enter the Interact Video Contest.
  8. Conduct an activity that promotes the Four Way Test.
  9. Participate in an International Service Project.
  10. Participate in a Community Service project.
  11. Participate in a project that promotes peace.
  12. Create a scrapbook, display board, brochure or other creative display of your club’s activities.
All achievements must have been completed between July 1, 2013 and February 25, 2014.

If you wish to enter a scrapbook for submission, please submit by Friday, February 28, 2014.
Scrapbook should be brought to the convention. Multi-media presentations are acceptable, but you must bring a flash drive with presentation loaded on it.
