Rotary ʻĀina Music Festival 2026! This week, the Rotary Club of Aloha Hawaii International is hosting the ʻĀina Music Festival 2026 at the Neal Blaisdell Center Pikake Ballroom on January 23 and 24, 2026. This two-day innovative festival has two concerts, receptions, workshops and mele. Our featured artists are:Friday Evening (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM), Rotary Peace Fellow Maestro Diego Carneiro and Saturday Evening (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM), Rotarian and brilliant TEDx speaker, David LaMotte is a highly regarded humanitarian and top of the charts, award-winning singer-songwriter from North Carolina. Our featured artists are:
- Friday Evening (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM), Rotary Peace Fellow Maestro Diego Carneiro, an acclaimed Brazilian cellist and composer. The concert will open with Jacob Staron, an On-The-Rise Henry Kapono Foundation cellist. The concert will be followed by a reception (9:00-10:00 PM).
- Saturday Evening (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM), Rotarian and brilliant TEDx speaker, David LaMotte is a highly regarded humanitarian and top of the charts, award-winning singer-songwriter from North Carolina. Jenny Yim will be opening for David. She is a talented local Oʻahu singer/songwriter and 2025 Hawai‘i Songwriting Festival’s Songwriter of the Year, another On-The-Rise Henry Kapono Foundation musician. This concert will also be followed by a reception (9:00-10:00 PM).
- Saturday Festival Schedule (9:00-5:00 PM) is a full day with Diego and David:
- Workshops (Saturday morning): Engage in hands-on sessions with our artists, including youth-focused workshops and an instructive songwriting class.
- Mele (Saturday afternoon): A collaboration of the music inspired by our land and ocean.
