Lahaina, Hawaii, August 22, 2023 –Maui Rotary Clubs, part of Hawai’i Rotary District 5000, is pleased to announce the availability of Free Starlink WiFi Hotspots to assist residents affected by the recent wildfires in Maui.

Immediate Relief for West Maui Community

Understanding the urgent need for reliable internet access for affected families and emergency responders, Maui Rotary Clubs has spearheaded this initiative to offer Starlink WiFi Hotspots at strategic locations throughout West Maui. Each location hotspot can connect 128 devices.

Locations

The Free Starlink WiFi Hotspots will be set up at the following locations:

  • Napili Surf Beach Resort
  • S Turns Beach Park
  • Airport Beach Park
  • Kuleana Resort
  • DT Fleming Beach Park
  • Fairways Shops
  • Royal Lahaina Resort

Enhanced Connectivity in Critical Times

Access to these WiFi Hotspots is entirely free and is intended to assist those impacted by the wildfires in managing emergency logistics, staying in touch with family and friends, and accessing crucial updates.
