The youth service chairs from each club did hold a meeting (of that those could attend) on Monday, August 14th. A recording of the meeting is here: https://youtu.be/up-CLmkw1Ms
There were some important updates on the following:
- Youth protection training - make-up will be sent via separate email.
- HRYF dues are due Aug. 31! You should have received an email from HRYF directly
- HRYF reminds you of Give Aloha at Foodland in September!
- RYLA updates from Oahu. Registration is live and will be sent via separate email.
- Hawaii Children and Youth Day - we plan to have two Rotary booths, more info to come!
- Discussion on Maui support for youth - more to come here too.
Since we just met and not to inundate your calendars, our next youth service meeting will be on September 25, 2023 at 5:30 pm. See you on zoom (links and info below).
If you have any questions or if D5000 can be of any support to you and your club's youth service programs and goals, feel free to reach out to me in the interim. As mentioned above, stay tuned for some emails from me specific to RYLA, Hawaii Children and Youth Day, Maui Support, and Youth Protection.
I am also happy to field any HRYF questions you may have on the emails each of your clubs should have received it order to participate in the 2024 program (this rotary year) and so you're ready for the 2025 program (donate your per capita goals!).
